Ashley Martinez-Doublin came to RootED from STRIVE Prep where she worked as a teacher and athletic director for five years. She is a Denver native and graduated from East High School.
Ashley attended Metropolitan State University of Denver and pursued a career in professional sports management while working on her master’s degree in Sports Operations from Adams State University. She quickly realized her true passion was working with kids and shifted her career to teaching.
Being able to have a larger impact on changing the educational landscape is one of Ashley’s favorite parts of working with RootED. She is inspired by a quote from Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
